Michael Carpenter

Ruby Seven Studios co-founder and President, Michael   Carpenter, entered   the social gaming arena in 2009 at Seattle’s PopCap Games (now part of   EA). As the VP of Social Product Operations, Carpenter brought to life the   organization’s social product operations group, building the team   responsible for operating the top-rated games Bejeweled Blitz and Zuma   Blitz. In early 2012, Carpenter founded Ruby Seven Studios, through the combination of a San Francisco-based game design team and ChaYoWo Games, one of India’s largest casual game developers. The company has created more than 20 titles for the Apple, GooglePlay, Amazon Kindle, Facebook, and web platforms and is considered one of the top B2B social casino providers to top land-based casinos. They currently build, operate and market the social casino offerings for Tropicana Entertainment, Gala/Coral, Pechanga Resort Casino and Delaware North Gaming.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Portland State University.


Luisa Woods

Luisa Woods has been in the online gaming sector for over 15 years. She is currently the VP of Marketing, Gaming and Entertainment at Delaware North, responsible for overseeing the marketing function for the company’s gaming operations in 7 states.  Prior to joining Delaware North, Luisa served as corporate VP of Online and Internet Marketing at Tropicana Entertainment, Inc., responsible for marketing their online gaming operation, and the Tropworld social casino app. Previously she was Vice President of Online Marketing for Caesars Interactive Entertainment, and Chief Marketing Officer of Zen Entertainment, a leading social poker operator since acquired by NYX Gaming Group.

Since joining the online gaming sector in the late 1990s, Luisa’s experience includes senior executive positions for leading operators. In her capacity, she managed operations and marketing for several vertically integrated casinos offering their own proprietary solutions as well as managing operations as a licensee. Her marketing experience spans across multiple online gaming product verticals including casino, poker, bingo and financial betting as well as multiple markets globally for both real money and social gaming.  Luisa is a  Canadian citizen and currently resides in Buffalo NY.
